MetaX is designed with a privacy-first approach. All data processing, including the reading, editing, and stripping of photo metadata, occurs locally on your device.

Photo Library Access

MetaX requests access to your photo library to display, modify, and save your photos. We read photo metadata (such as EXIF and GPS data) only to allow you to view or edit it. Your photos and their associated metadata are never uploaded to any external servers or cloud services.

Information We Collect

MetaX does not collect any personal information, usage data, or diagnostic information.

No personal identifiers are collected.
No analytics or tracking services (such as Google Analytics or Firebase) are integrated.
No cloud synchronization (such as iCloud) is used for your photo data within the app.

In-App Tipping

MetaX offers optional in-app tipping (donations) through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payment information is processed and managed by Apple. We do not have access to your credit card details or any other personal financial information. Apple may provide us with non-identifying transaction data, such as the date and amount of the tip, for financial reporting purposes.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

All modifications are made directly to your local photo library.
You can revoke photo library access at any time via your device's System Settings.
