Will MetaX overwrite my original photos?

You have two choices: "Save a Copy" creates a new version in the "MetaX" album, while "Edit in Place" applies a non-destructive edit to your photo. This allows you to update the metadata without creating a duplicate. Both options are safe, and "Edit in Place" is fully reversible through the app or the system Photos app.

Are my photos uploaded to any servers?

Never. MetaX operates 100% locally on your device. We do not use any servers, analytics, or third-party tracking.

Which image formats are supported?

MetaX supports common image formats such as JPEG, HEIC, and PNG. It also works with various RAW formats (including DNG) supported by iOS.
